In late 2016, with both old and freshly written songs, Blaine headed into 3 Leaf Recording Studio and recorded the album "Scorpio". With Sean Cooney as the producer, the process was made easy since Blaine had worked with him already making the album "Can't Change the Sun" (2015). Part of what makes Scorpio special is the list of musicians who played on it - from local Arizona greats to friends Blaine had made on the road. Several of the songs are reflective of Blaine's experience as a contestant on a popular TV singing competition show. Passionate, independent, and unafraid to blaze their own trail no matter what others think, a Scorpio is all about being genuine and authentic, even if authentic isn't pretty.
