In 2011 in a borrowed cabin just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, Blaine Long and some friends spent a snowed-in weekend capturing songs with a make-shift recording set up. The songs that make up ROSE were songs that Blaine had been playing out live for the previous 2 years. Multi-instrumentalist, Don Bosse, produced, engineered, mixed and played most of the sounds that you hear. Brad Dilli "Dilli" completes the sound with call-and-response vocals and harmonica.
