Recorded in 2006, Hubcapdiamonstarhalo was recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder. Most of the tracks were recorded in motel rooms while doing regional tours. On the song Cannonballtongue, you can hear the sound of a train passing by (in Flagstaff, AZ). Blaine found his voice as a solo artist and writer with this group of songs. This was a lost and forgotten record that was resurrected with the help of Darren Baum at Sonic Piranha Recording Studio to enhance this homemade DIY record.
